When I design a product or experience (and even this website) I take into consideration three levels of guests or users which I call Floaters, Swimmers and Divers.
Floaters: Have a rudimentary understanding of what you’re doing and quite honestly don’t care to get deeper into the experience than taking it on face value. They might scroll through a few slide shows on this website.
Next are the Swimmers, those individuals who come with more than a passing interest and with a littler higher level of expectation. They may go through more slides and browse through some of the blog posts or other pages on this site.

Finally there are the Divers, those individuals that come into an experience with a very high level of interest and understanding. They expect much more and want to go deep into the experience, finding nuances and detailed information… like this lost page!
